After a month or so in Kokomo, we ventured down to Indianapolis to see what the big city had to offer.
We tried the different Costcos. We became members of the outstanding Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. And we went to the home of President Benjamin Harrison.
President Harrison, our twenty-third president, was both a military officer and an attorney. We learned about his Indiana politics. This was the first presidential museum where Z and A both felt free enough to ask questions of the docents.
We enjoyed Indianapolis. Fifty-five minutes down the road from our home and a membership at its greatest museum ensured that we would be returning often.
