As we prepped to leave Indiana, we continued to focus our efforts on doing and seeing some of the things we had missed.
We went to Indianapolis to catch the Indians’ Triple-A team. As always, Zach and Anna loved the cotton candy. We picnicked on the outfield grass.
We stood at the fence to watch the action. Between innings, the Indians’ center fielder, Tyler Naquin, ran up to us and gave Anna a ball.
From there, we went to the Indiana State Museum. I loved the 80s arcade tribute section. The kids, of course, loved the solar system display.
We spent the night at the Embassy Suites, downtown. In the morning, we walked to the Indiana Statehouse. Of all the busts and classical architecture, the kids loved the water dispenser.
We drove back home to do some family things. Kris took Anna to a mother-daughter tea.
I finished coaching the kids at t-ball.
And we planned two more trips before our departure for Canada.
