The T-ball season ended; the kids got a hit in every at-bat.
We visited the last Indiana museum on our list: the Indianapolis Museum of Art (we had a Costco pizza picnic on their parking lot grass as we waited for them to open).
We played “I spy” with the paintings.
We also took a final Minnesota trip before we moved to Montreal. We drove straight through on the way there; the kids did great in the van.
In addition to grandma and grandpa, the kids got to spend time with Uncle Nate, Aunt Priscilla, Emily, Tristan, and Great Grandma.
The farm was beautiful.
We went fishing twice.
We camped out in the yard; Kris ensured that we put the whole pack-n-play in the tent. We had a campfire with smores in the evening.
Kris took Ella in the house in the middle of the night. It rained in the morning and I ran Zach and Anna in for a hot breakfast.
Naturally, we then went to the Judy Garland museum.
Zach and Anna loved the children’s museum part.
We had water balloon fights and ran around on the huge lawn.
We also went to the Minnesota Forest History Center where we, sans Kris and Ella, looked at an old logging camp with giant tractors and sleds.
And just like that, it was time to say goodbye again. We implored everyone to come visit us in Montreal.
And we drove home, spending the night in Eau Claire.
