71a. Montreal, QC to Fairfax, VA; June 28, 2017

Our Montreal time continued to wind down.  We checked St. Joseph’s Oratory off from our Montreal list.  The kids enjoyed the view of our city.

Summer approached too quickly and Zach’s school year began to wind down.  I got to chaperone Zach’s kindergarten class on a field trip to a sports complex.  And then the school year was done and he graduated.

And it was time for another road trip.  One of Kristi’s cousins was getting married in New Jersey.  Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Nate, Aunt Priscilla, Emily, and Tristan were all going to be there.

We left on a Wednesday morning, stopping in Plattsburgh for the Zach and Ella’s dentist appointments.

We then drove all day and most of the night, stopping every two hours or so and finally reaching Washington, DC just before 10.

We gave hugs to Pete and Char and went to sleep.
